Cheap Places To Travel Abroad

Due to the cost of fuel and competition between airlines in airports for flying slots it has become more expensive to fly. You can still however find cheap places to travel abroad from UK and follow some great tips on how to reduce the cost of flights to your preferred destinations.

Ways To Reduce Costs
  • Airport – Luton and Stansted are typically the cheapest airports to fly from so this needs to be taken into consideration when searching for flights. If you are use to flying from Heathrow or Gatwick as they are closer to you then why not consider staying overnight at Luton or Stansted at one of their many hotels as it could work out to be much cheaper.
  • Time of Year – When you travel during the course of the year will impact the price of your plane ticket. European tickets are normally cheaper during the winter months except for Ski resorts. It’s also best to avoid travelling during school holidays.
  • Day of Travel – Tuesday and Fridays are considered to be the cheapest days to travel.
  • Use Holiday Voucher Codes – Use one of the many Airline voucher codes that we have on Holiday Voucher Codes.
Places To Travel

Barcelona – A great city break which is enriched with lots of history and magnificent buildings. Return flights via Iberia Airlines can cost as little as £80.

Dublin – Direct non-stop flights via Ryan Air can cost under £20.

Malta – If you want to travel to Mediterranean but want to keep your flight costs down then Malta is the perfect destination for you. British Airways has flights each way from £50.

Venice – Another Mediterranean destination that can be travelled to without breaking the bank is Italy. Alitalia offer return flights starting from £75. This price depends on where in Italy you will like to fly.

Amsterdam – Here you can enjoy bike rides, canals, museums and culture which make it perfect for a long weekend. KLM have return flights from £90.

Algarve – A popular destination and  one of my favorite cheap places to travel abroad which offers sandy beaches and plenty of activities and fantastic places to eat and drink for families and couple. You can fly to the Algarve region for £30 via Jet2.
