Finding the best budget travel destinations on a budget has never been easy as holidays abroad have never been cheap and are now even more so now when you take into consideration the value of the pound, impacts of Brexit and the cost of living. The more advance you book your holiday the cheaper it will be but you can also benefit from some great deals if you were to book your trip one to two weeks before your departure.

Phuket, Thailand

If you are seeking an amazing tropical destination for your next holiday then Phuket of which is the largest of Thailand’s islands is one of the best budget travel destinations for couples but also a cheap holiday destination for young adults.

Phuket has some of the world’s most beautiful white sandy beaches, tiger and crocodile sanctuaries if you want to be up close with nature and the most amazing local delicacies that are very reasonably priced to help keep your costs down. They appear even better value for money when you compare the price to what you would pay in the U.K.

There is plenty to do in Phuket regardless of whether you are travelling with a young family, friends or as a couples. This includes:

Meals and drinks in Thailand are relatively cheap with a two course meal for two with drinks costing between £15 – £20. If you want to be in a buzzing and partying atmosphere where you can relax on the beach during the day and enjoy bars/clubs in the evening then Sidari, Corfu would be a great place for you to visit.

If however you would like to experience the culture that Corfu has to offer which includes temple ruins, churches and scared sites, museums and archeological sites then Naxos is the place for you.

If you want to avoid the beach and prefer more of a city break but at the same time enjoy some sunshine the Athens the Greece capital would be great for you. The cities pedestrianized centre has an array of places where you can eat and go shopping.

Sunny Beach Bulgaria

Sunny Beach Bulgaria is the most budget savvy travel destinations in Europe. A two week break for a family of four in a 4 star hotel can cost as little as £480 according to Last Minute.com and did I mention this includes the flights!

You are probably thinking that costs of food and drink must be quite high due to flights and hotel costs being so cheap but you’re wrong. A two course lunch for two costs £8, a glass of wine £1 and a cup of coffee as little as 70p.

At Sunny beach you can experience fantastic sandy beaches, aqua parks, day cruises and a great nightlife.

This is a fantast destination for those of you that love a bargain and want to keep your costs down.

Marrakech Morocco

Marrakech and Morocco in general is a beautiful travel destination with stunning attractions and coast line.

What’s more the sleek Al Boraq, Africa’s first high-speed train, now connects laid-back Tangier, to frenetic Casablanca, the country’s architectural treasure trove​​​​ in just two hours.

In Morocco you can enjoy their amazing shisha lounges which are easy to find, explore the desert via a camel ride, cultural tours and go shopping in the Marrakech shopping district where you’ll find some amazing cultural items.

Its food and hotels are very reasonably priced.
